Kondwani graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2006.   He then clerked at an American commercial and general practice firm in Seattle, Washington.  He returned to Australia and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2007 and the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2008.

Kondwani was a Partner at O’Sullivan Davies in 2018, prior to founding FMD Legal with Sam and Nic.

Kondwani has experience in complex financial and child-related matters, including:

·        Financial Agreements;

·        Property and Spousal Maintenance; and

·        International, Interstate and Intrastate Relocation of children.

Kondwani takes the time to understand the specific needs and interests of each person he represents.  He is solutions focused and applies his knowledge and experience to deliver personalised advice to his clients.  He generates pragmatic options which assist his clients in making decisive decisions, leading to timely and cost-effective settlements.

Kondwani is recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a leading family lawyer among family lawyers in Western Australia and a recommended lawyer (high value and complex property and parenting matters). He is also a Collaborative Lawyer and works with other Collaborative Lawyers, mental health and financial professionals to assist parties reach equitable and respectful agreements without the threat or involvement of litigation.

Kondwani is a trained Independent Children’s Lawyer.  He can separately represent the best interests of children in highly contentious and often complex parenting matters involving family violence, mental health issues and drug and alcohol abuse.

Kondwani firmly believes in service to others.  He often mentors lawyers and law students and otherwise volunteers his services to the general public.
